Getting To Durango

Durango is located in southwest Colorado, near the “Four Corners” where
Colorado meets New Mexico, Arizona, and Utah, and is situated along one of
the most scenic drives in America: the San Juan Skyway.

If you fly: Durango-La Plata County Airport (Airport Code: DRO) has added DELTA AIRLINESThe airport is now serviced by three airlines providing daily arrivals from Phoenix, AZ (AMERICA WEST/US AIR), Denver (UNITED EXPRESS), and now Salt Lake City, UT (DELTA AIRLINES).

If you drive: Durango is easily accessible by US Hwy 550 from the north and south, and US Hwy 160 from the east and west.

Durango Downtown is a very walkable downtown and designed for pedestrians and is the best way to explore downtown.

Durango Transit (T) buses and trolleys serve locations throughout the municipal limits of Durango.

Main Avenue Trolley The historic-style trolleys operate along Main Avenue from Days Inn to College Dr. The trolley runs every 20 minutes from 7:00 am until 7:40 pm Monday through Friday and 10:20 am to 7:40 pm on Saturdays.
